This Month's Topic:

Nipissing District Developmental Screen

Many parents are concerned about whether or not their child is developing normally.

The Nipissing District Developmental Screen (NDDS) was created to identify and help such parents to determine whether their child is in need of assistance. The screen covers several areas of development for children from one month to six years old.  It allows parents to learn about their child’s development, recognize their child’s skills, and assist their child, if needed. It also offers activity ideas that parents can use to help children meet their full potential.

If you wish to write an article on this topic and need to set up an interview with a health professional who can best answer your questions, contact Communications at 613-933-1375.
