A Humidex Advisory and a Smog Advisory have been issued for the Eastern Ontario region.  While the humidex and smog advisories are in effect, strenuous outdoor activities are not recommended as they may cause respiratory symptoms such as coughing or shortness of breath, and there is a considerable risk of heat stroke and sun stroke.
