Quit Smoking Online
The Quit Smoking Online program is designed to help anyone who wishes to quit smoking within the next month and is looking for tips and guidance on how to get started. Quitting smoking is probably one of the toughest things you'll do, so you'll need to prepare yourself. Smoking has been part of your life for so long that you'll have to teach yourself how to live as a non-smoker. Our online program includes a series of videos featuring a quit smoking coach and Health Educator/Promoter at the EOHU, discussing the challenges and benefits of quitting smoking, how to create a quit plan, nicotine replacement therapies (NRTs) and other strategies to help you quit. In addition, our Quit Smoking Complete Resource Guide prepares you, step-by-step, to quit smoking successfully and for good. It contains: - a quick checklist that you must complete
- a section on why you want to quit
- a personal contract that you must make with yourself
- forms to fill out to better analyze your smoking habits
- relaxation techniques
- a list of the benefits of quitting
- a list of withdrawal symptoms
- steps to take if you relapse
