  Immunization

Immunization is a highly effective and safe method of preventing disease. The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care provides publicly funded vaccines to all citizens in Ontario. Routine childhood immunizations as well as immunization for high risk individuals are among those publicly funded. Physicians can access these vaccines from their local health unit.
