Physical Activity
The Eastern Ontario Health Unit is actively involved and participates in the development and activities of various community committees and coalitions. Our goal is to help create policy change related to physical activity in the community. We are involved in programs such as junior ski clubs, after-school programs, summer day camp for low-income groups, youth centre programming, skate park development and active living community committees. Community members who are interested in setting up an active living program or joining an existing one can contact the Health Unit. For more information, call 613-933-1375 or 1 800 267-7120 and ask for the Health Line.
